RANDBURG TAXI RANK - We are proud of the Clean City South Africa NPC interns, who have done a marvelous job to significantly improve the litter outlook at this important transport hub.
The taxi rank is much cleaner than 3 weeks ago, when this team started with sweeping and litter picking every weekday (Mondays to Fridays). We look forward to more improvements in the weeks and months to come.

What a privilege it was for Clean City South Africa NPC to collaborate, partner and participate at the Afrika Tikkun Day 1 in celebrating the late chairman and founder of Afrika Tikkun, Bertie Lubner.
We did this by giving back through a street clean-up and by making a difference to the community of Diepsloot today.
We have worked and continue to work with the Afrika Tikkun Alumni team, and are excited about our future collaboration together.

At Clean City South Africa NPC, we remain committed to create every avenue possible, to create pathways for future employability prospects for the SEF participants.
This week, two groups of SEF participants from the inner-city of Johannesburg, attended the Waste Management Training on the 18th and 19th of February 2025.
Over the years, some of the SEF participants from this team had been absorbed by Pikitup on a full time basis. This our contribution and impact from the SEF Programme.
We are grateful to the collaboration and partnership with CRUM in Region F and Pikitup, without whom this training would not have been possible.

Despite the rain today, Founder and CEO had an opportunity to visit MES, which is one of the JICP SEF patner organisations with Clean City South Africa NPC on the SEF Programme.
Thank you to Susan for taking Founder and CEO through one of MES homeless shelters called Impilo, based in Jeppestown.
Over and above their great work in providing a shelter for the homeless for 3 - 6 months, they also provide eligibility, health and psychosocial screening, as well as providing 3 meals per day for them - we also explored cooperation and collaboration in park activations, food security and waste management.
